三頭修羅 “THREE HEAD ASURA” (Installation)

Neither god nor man, Asura is a type of mythical being that originated in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. There are various iterations of Asura in Chinese, Japanese and Indian culture. They have the emotions of a mortal, but possess the powers of a god. Asuras are prone to conflict and emotion even though they are good by nature; they are beings that exist in moral grey areas. I believe the stories about Asura are actually about humans, especially humans of today. Through technology we have all become Asuras: infinite knowledge, with devastating destructive power, yet still mortal. The question is: how will we use these newfound powers? Will we save ourselves and the world like the Adityas (Benevolent)? Or do we destroy everything in our path like the Danavas (Malevolent)?

We have entered into the Realm of Asura.
